At a very young age, I enlisted in the Army. After spending time in Germany and many places across the United States, I came home and began work as a civilian. After a 15-year career of working in a manufacturer's job, I was told that "My position was no longer needed."
This devasting reality has turned into an opportunity of a lifetime. I wanted to do something that I love: create things with wood!
Hence, Skulls-Too-Daisey was born!
I have always had a passion for woodwork. Without the time to do big projects, I was only doing the "honey do" list that I was given. Now I get to create-for you!
I love being outdoors, riding my Harley, bass fishing and camping, to name a few. With a full-time position which sometimes was well over 40 hours a week, and my other "hobbies," I really had no time to work on my wood creations. With this new opportunity, my wife and I decided to go for it! Live life and do something I love to do-all while allowing me to be home alongside my family, travel and spend time with the people I enjoy.
I call myself an Artisan Creator. I see beauty in nature and love keeping a little piece of it in my home. We specialize in butting boards, charcuterie boards, and decorations for the home. We play around with epoxy to give the creations a little pop! We do custom order, offering special designs. I work with you to create, and personalization opportunities are available.
We use only food-grade epoxy. We use 100% USP food grade oil for the cutting boards. We at Skulls-Too-Daisey Wood Creations pride ourselves in using as much wood as possible from trees that had seen some sort of demise. Each piece of wood is cured and dried before we start the design.
All of our products should be washed by hand. Each item will be shipped with attached care instructions. You will find the product care recommendations in the description of each product for sale.
