This reclaimed oak raw edge cutting board is a perfect addition to any kitchen. With the unique wood grain paired with the natural color of the hand rubbed cutting board oil this is sure to be an envy of any gathering.  One property of oak wood is its grain texture, the grain pattern of this wood type is quite unique and is perfect for a handmade cutting board, with the wood being highly durable.

The handle with the circle provides a convenient location to hold the board in place when in use as well as providing a handle for caring. This unique handle also provides a great way to display and store the cutting board when not in use.

As with all natural cut pieces size, color and edging will vary, as no two pieces are the same.

Using liquid soap wash your cutting board by hand ONLY. No harsh, concentrated cleaners on your cutting board.

Do Not soak a cutting board. You can submerge it in water, but only for a quick dunk. Soaking can cause the board to warp.

DO NOT put wooden cutting boards in the dishwasher. The excessive heat and harsh chemicals of the dish detergent will cause the wood to dry out, warp, and/or crack.

To freshen up a smelly board (think residual onion vapors) rub a halved lemon over the surface let it sit for a minute or two, and then wipe off the board.

  • To remove stubborn stains, sprinkle baking soda over a cutting board, rub with a warm, damp cloth, then rinse away any excess baking soda.
  • If there’s caked-on residue, it’s okay to use an abrasive scrubbing pad gently as to not scratch the surface.

You will need to condition your cutting board to keep it shiny and smooth to the touch. We recommend mineral oil. There is no determined time as to how often you need to condition your cutting board. If the product feels dry, looks grayish in color then its time.

We along with many others recommend wood cutting oil or mineral oil for the conditioning of the board.

When purchased you will only receive the cutting board all other items in the picture are not for sale.
